The Online Basic course will cover how to operate a keyboard and mouse, introduction to using the Internet & Email, accessing Public Service sites such as DVLA, Passport Applications, NHS Choices, Universal Jobmatch and others. Learners will have the opportunity to then produce an excellent CV, set up an email address, upload a CV and be able to apply for vacancies on the Universal Jobmatch website. These modules are supported and created by Online Centres Foundation with beginners in mind so please do not be fearful that you have little or no knowledge as you can and will develop the skills you require with our help here at Doncaster West Development Trust. Locations throughout the borough are available.
The course also offers the opportunity to progress onto a recognised qualification – Entry Level 3 City & Guilds IT Award. The sessions are supported by staff and information booklets to help learners to achieve and retain the skills they have learnt.
